Suggestions on the French Riviera

The French Riviera Corniches

The roads of the "Côte d'Azur" (French Riviera), named after the writer Stéphen Liégeard and his book "La Côte d’Azur publié" in 1888, following the 3 Corniches between Nice and Monaco.

You can discover with Stéphanie Villefranche, its small fishing port which was the royal port and its 16thC citadel, Beaulieu, a true "Dream Oasis" which offers a rich architectural heritage with sumptuous residences: La Rotonde, the Casino, the Greek Villa Kérylos (unique reconstruction in the world of a sumptuous palace from Ancient Greece, 1902-08). You can admire a "folie" (folly), the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild built in 1905 on the narrowest part of the Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat peninsula.

Nice

With Nice "La Belle" (The Beautiful), you will be able to stroll in the small streets of Old Nice and visit the baroque monuments of the 17th and 18thC as Lascaris Palace and the Sainte-Réparate cathedral; or you delight of the landscape either on the "promenade des Anglais" established in the 19thC, or on the hill of the ruined castle (destroyed in the 18thC by Louis the 14th)

And around: Stéphanie can lead on the French Riviera roads called "Côte d'Azur"...
